I know many people will want to know just how big of a change can be expected. The answer is the shielding effectiveness of high permeability over braided film shielded cable material can be as high as 2,000 db all the way down to zero hertz. Which means any noise getting into the system is not getting there through the cable, but the connectors and equipment cases which are not typically magnetically shielded.
